This is the error I get if I try to connect to a specific Wi-Fi network
on Ubuntu 20.10 with wpa_supplicant:
Error: Connection activation failed: (7) Secrets were required, but not
provided.
If I use iwd instead, everything works fine.
I also can connect to other networks
I have this bug on Xubuntu 18.10.
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
cryptsetup cryptsetup-bin cryptsetup-initramfs cryptsetup-run
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.

I'm soryy for inexact report.
Actually my file is an exact example, the full name is just short (Я
which means Me in Russian). You can change XXX to 123, it doesn't
change anything.
In Evolution I get the right contact Я but in kaddressbook I see
+BC8- instead of name.

Same problem since 9.04 with an ATI Radeon Mobilty 3650HD and an Intel
mainboard chipset on a 64bit system. I'm using the fglrx driver from
ATI. I've also tried the free radeonhd driver and there was no changes.
It is definitely not radeonhd driver bug, because it also appears using fglrx
I was sure my card is not supported by radeon driver :)
But I works, and I don't see any black rectangles for 30 minutes.

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd
Sometimes (in practically every application) black rectangles appear on
different places.
When push PrintScr button, they disappear. So I can only take a foto of
the screen.

When using kvm with ubuntu 8.10 as guest, somtimes kernel start writing
such messages to /var/log/syslog so that syslogd and klogd freezes the
system.

button/radio named), downloading begins. So, downloaded file has double
extension.
