First, subscribing the whole Stellarium team to the bug activity was an
improper move. Don't do it again, please. I have un-subscribed the team,
so if any team members are interested in following this, they should
subscribe themselves manually.
Second, try to install some other OpenGL
This is similar to the landscape wall bug. The problem is in the
sscanf() calls in the twoline2rv() function in sgp4io.cpp, as sscanf()
is affected by the current numeric locale.

I think I've located the problem: the crash appears when the Oculars
plug-in fails to load due to missing SQLite driver. It seems that the
SQLite driver was not included in the Mac OS X package.
Could any of the Mac users please confirm this? Try disabling Oculars

The driconf package can be installed with the Synaptic package manager
