Notmuch upstream and Debian maintainer here.
I can't duplicate this problem in Debian, with emacs24 24.5+1-11 and
elpa-notmuch 0.23.7-3 (note in DpkgTerminalLog.txt the same failure
occurs for emacs24 and emacs25). In particular I don't have any of the
compilation warnings that are shown on

this bug only occurred recently having experienced problems with update
manager which has recently been repaired.It seems to be connected with
the ubuntu software centre which as outlined at the moment does not work
in any shape what so ever.I only get a grey screen when I

In versions 0.72-2 and 0.72-3, if the user
neglects to define the preprocessor symbol BLISS_USE_GMP when
compiling their code, it will build successfuly but segfault at

For precise this also contains the change from 0.72-3 that cause the bliss
shared library to be explicitly linked against GMP.
This change has been tested in 12.10. Of course I can produce a patch without
it, if needed.

Thanks for your interest in lrslib
B64 affects only the arithmetic in the non-gmp version, so there is no
point in defining it with GMP. It seems harmeless to define it, but I
don't see the point in bothering upstream with this.
The debian package in fact does clean up everything it builds, so
