I am running Feisty Fawn Herd 1 (AMD64), and I'm also having this issue. The temp fix as listed above: sudo rm /var/cache/apt/*.bin worked for me. All apt-related commands would SEGFAULT in this scenario. I kept the .bin files from /var/cache/apt incase I would need to reproduce this. I am runni
