I get the same thing with the Herd5 feisty live-cd. I'm running a Nvidia G-Force FX Dual head card. The loading screen fails during boot and after about 5 minutes of waiting X finally starts normal on one monitor and nothing but flashing colors and lines on the other. Both monitors are the same mo

gnome-app-install does not seem to have a --version option... but i think the version number is 0.2.21. Does that sound right? I get that number when simulating a remove of the package. This is the output of "sudo apt-get remove --simulate gnome-rdp": Reading package lists... Done Build

Amarok 1.4.3 Ubuntu 6.10 I've been having this exact problem since I switched to Edgy. When building the collection (~27GB) amarokcollectionscanner crashes at about 60%. It takes much longer also... about 20 minutes to get to 100%. Although it reaches 100% it never actually finishes. Durring this
