I was able to solve my problem by upgrading to 9.10 Karmic Koala. It
fixed a lot more problems I was experiencing and I highly recommend you
upgrade, Jeenu V.

A note, for what it's worth, Emerald now properly applies the window
theme. I think it's definitely something to do with 2.1.4-0alpha1 on my
system. Maybe the next weekly stable will work. Too bad for me cuz I
really liked some of the new stuff in 2.1.4-0alpha1.

Ok, so I removed the weekly unstable PPA line, and Cairo-Dock works
(2.1.3-6).
I don't know if you guys want me to continue on to see if the Weekly PPA
with an Intrepid or Hardy version will work on my system.

Installing Cairo-Dock doesn't get it to start. For what it's worth, it
didn't download new packages, it just used "previously unselected
packages."

Ok, I'm back, and it just happened again. Just thought I'd let you guys

OK nevermind, it happened again. Gnome-Screensaver was running after the

I'll try out your suggestions Marc. It hasn't happen recently. I'm
wondering if it had something to do with GnomeDo's "Files and Folders"
plug-in, which was sometimes causing suspend to fail. I fixed that
problem and it hasn't happened since, but we'll see. I'll report back if
there's any updates.
I'm getting the same problem. Ubuntu Jaunty.

I'm using Jaunty 9.04. Sometimes, after Resuming from Suspend, the
computer will boot directly to the desktop without asking for a
password. Should I file a bug report for Jaunty users?
