I did that and it did seem to fix the problem. I re-enabled Ubuntu Dock and it still is fixed though, so I'm not sure what that means. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1945900 Title:

[Bug 1912974] Re: discrete card not powered down in Intel mode with legacy drivers

2021-07-19 Thread Dan Robinson
Well I played with this some more in Hirsute and I wonder if I may have jumped the gun. If I give it a minute to idle the power usage drops down to about 11-12 watts, which is about 2W more than using bbswitch or disabling the card in BIOS. Which suggests that power management is working and

2021-06-13 Thread Dan Robinson
Public bug reported: Since Whiskermenu which is on the default panel configuration tries to launch Mugshot when you click on your username, mugshot should be included in the default desktop so users don't get an error message straight out of the box. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 21.04

2021-01-24 Thread Dan Robinson
Public bug reported: This is the same issue as originally reported in bug 1765363 but that report is old and has a lot of extra data on it so it was requested that a new bug be opened if we were still having the issue. So... I am still having the issue, at least with the 390 series drivers (my

[Bug 1832055] [NEW] nm-connection-editor.desktop appears in both "Sundry" and "Utilities" in Gnome

Public bug reported: Shows as "Advanced Connection Editor" in Gnome. It appears in both the Sundry subfolder and Utilities subfolder, off of a fresh install. Doesn't in any way appear to hinder normal operations but it looks cluttered and unpolished. As it's literally the only thing in Sundry it

[Bug 1778011] Re: SRU: PRIME Power Saving mode draws too much power

2019-01-29 Thread Dan Robinson
