problem in different binaries. There's no debug information (I don't
know why that's a common issue) but I can tell all the crashes seem to

Users of Ubuntu 24.04 can manually install the fix that's in 24.10:

Here's a refreshed patch for Oracular. Since I keep having to rebase and
regenerate these I won't bother with Noble until Oracular actually gets
uploaded.

"FIFO underrun" would be a black flash, yes. But one that we can't fix
from userspace. Hopefully the kernel change i915.enable_psr=0 helps you.

I'm wondering if the affected apps use Xwayland, which would also
translate the input. Firefox shouldn't be, because that's now Wayland by
default, but Chromium would be.
