Hi! Now I'm using xorg 1:7.6+7ubuntu7 in fully updated Oneiric. The

I have found this bug in Ubuntu Software Center too while reviewing an
application. This launcher bug is also reflected in the alt+tab

It looks like the the BFB won't go back to the top left of the panel.
The best option we have now is to be able to move it to the bottom left.
I have filed a wishlist bug with this suggestion. See bug #887142.

I'm not sure about that. In addition to empathy, I have just noticed
that this problem also happens for another application. It happened
while opening Onboard's preferences. See the attached png showing two
Onboard icons in the launcher, one high-res and one low-res.

I'm still experiencing dash performance issues on an Intel GM965 with

Isn't this a duplicate of bug #824890?

Again ignoring the subjectivity of aesthetics and focusing on speed and
functionality, what do you think about being able to move the dash icon
position in the launcher to where the bin currently is, or inverting the
icons order?

The new alt-tab switcher is really great but I'm awfully confused by it
since I have several windows open in different workspaces (and my work-
flow requires me to separate them like this) but the switcher mix them
all.
In addition to distinguishing windows from different workspaces, I also

There seems to be another regression related to this in the 11.10 Beta1.
In Natty, I could open a new instance of an application by pressing

not working in this development version of oneiric anymore. If this

The simplest workaround for this issue (the package xul-ext-notify) was

I think that this could be reconsidered.
Ok, xul-ext-notify is a third party extension, but it brought a small
but very interesting way to further integrate Firefox with Ubuntu. Since
this project looks abandoned, wouldn't it be important for the Ubuntu
team to try to bring this functionality back

A problem that seems overlooked is that window decorations are still not

default ambiance in maximized windows. See attached png for an example

If the problem is inconsistency, some applications have no menu
altogether but we can only find out about that after we hover the mouse
on the panel. At least in this case, the presence/absence of the menu is
not visual clutter, it's an important information. Besides, one of the
