My work around:
1. Reboot. (my machine didn't shutdown clearly and had to be powered off)
2. At grub menu choose kernel 2.6.22-14 (not 2.6.22-15)
3. Once booted run dpkg --configure -a
4. wait (it takes a while)
5. Reboot
This has mostly been posted above but I thought

Nothing shows up in the /var/crash folder at all when firefox crashes.
No .crash or anything. The links that cause this are javascript links
that create a new pop-up window when clicked. When a link is clicked,
the window sits for a few seconds and then goes gray because it is no

snd-hda-intel drivers might point to the kernel, on the other hand flash is the
only piece of software that triggers crashes on my

steps to reproduce this bug:
1. use a machine with an onboard sound chipset that loads snd-hda-intel such
as the realtek hd audio (ALC883)
2. load firefox with flashplugin-nonfree and navigate to a site with flash
videos that play

I started running into this or something similar to it after changing
motherboards.
Old motherboard was an nforce4 with a Vitesse VSC8201 ethernet
adapter. With this my nfs entries in fstab were mounted normally at
boot.
New motherboard is an msi p6n sli with the ethernet adapter Realtek

Kubuntu Feisty, clean install as of a few hours ago, nothing installed
manually, all from the repos.

There seems to be a workaround which I stumbled upon somewhere herein.
One can enter DNS name-servers by adding the following line to
/etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf:
prepend domain-name-servers 192.168.60.1, 172.16.254.2;
(The name-servers above are obviously examples)

I'm running Feisty 7.04 AMD64 version (fresh installation). The table
wizard operates, but not the form or query wizards. The report wizard
just throws up a sheet a header, body and footer, but no controls or
options whatsoever.
