I had to do a complete re-install of 9.04 after a failed 9.10 install
hosed up my box. I did not install the backports modules this time (as I
did initial) and I have not had any issues. I have upgrade the kernel
once since the re-install and all worked fine. I am wondering if there

I have attached the dmesg info. When I run modinfo ath5k_pci, I get
"modinfo: could not find module ath5k_pci." Also, I am attaching the
screenshot of my "Hardware Drivers" from System > Administration >
Hardware Drivers.

Downloadhelper extension to download a video from Youtube. It defaults
to a .flv file. Downloaded it and played it back from my hard drive...

I am having the same issue on my brand-spanking new Acer Aspire 1/Ubuntu
9.04. I hear my music and radio fine in Rhythmbox. Just no sound on
