ok .I got an easy fix for you...I went to the getdeb website and downloaded the most recent Kino release (v.1.3.2) http://www.getdeb.net/app/Kino and installed it and now it works perfectly (I assume there is some bug in v.1.3.0 that has been fixed upstream and we just need the new version)
