Thank you much! I hope the attached file proves useful.
First, I swapped out the rhythmbox-dbg package for the rhythmbox-dbgsym
package . . . That may have changed the environment significantly. For
one thing, the program now produces apport reports and automatically
uploads them. So,
I'm marking this as "New" again since the process described by Chris
when it was marked "Invalid" didn't create the file that would allow for
a new, "valid" bug report.

When I say that Rhythmbox "crashes," I only mean that the program
crashes, not my entire system. Did I create a misunderstanding by using
the word "crash"???

Noticing a great number of problems when doing lots of work with
