I've installed Ubuntu Pangolin 12.04 on a Mac Mini and sometimes use a Sony
HMZ-T1 as the display device. On Ocelot everything worked fine, but since
Pangolin I get no X screen, not even the tty's on F1/F2. When the mac starts
up, I'm getting 720p image output from the

Just adding some info. When I add the nomodeset flag to the kernel
boot parameters, the screen now appears, but fixed in 800x600 mode. I
also get access to the tty's on F1..Fx. It's starting in low-graphics
mode still though and cannot be reconfigured to 720p.

dmraid crashes for me on 1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3. I installed the PPA
version from Luke Yelavich, which did work (eventually after some
problems).

Apologies. This is a bad bug report. It was only due to the inability to
replace the older package. I attempted to remove, but it reported a very
bad inconsistent state.
I actually managed to get everything working and dmraid of this PPA
package fixes the problem for me.

I've decided to upgrade today to Heron and unfortunately encounter this
issue still, even after putting your PPA in my sources.list. At the
moment, the system only boots with the old kernel from Gutsy.
