I disagree. Enabling ufw broke things, and disabling it should put them
back in working order. Also, ufw probably shouldn't break things when
enabled.

Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS has a sufficiently old enough version of mosh that it
is still affected by that bug.
Can this be updated in 12.04 LTS?

That command popped up a silly text based web-browser, which I logged in

How do I turn those off?

I don't run Ubuntu, so asking me to test the latest version doesn't make
any sense. I was offering a bug report on KTorrent, which has either
been fixed or it hasn't. Tracking it is up to you, not me.
If you don't want to track the bug, feel free to close this. I don't
care.

Since you claim the way to install KTorrent on Windows is to use that
installer, at the very least your download page has a bug since that
information is incorrect.
It is also non of my business whether the KDE installer you claim should
have ktorrent has ktorrent or not. I imagine since you are n

It appears KTorrent 3.3.4 and 4.0.0 (at least) have a bug when sending
an extension command. This causes it to lose connections with other
clients.
