Ok so this bug impacts 8 of us so far - how long does it normally take before anyone starts to look at these things. I'm willing to help narrow down the root cause of this issue. Know my way round a unix box, can shell script etc. Just dont know much about ALSA and pulseaudio. Meanwhile I've

Public bug reported: I am running 11.10. After performing an upgrade 2 days ago sounds no longer works. Have proved hardware by booting off CD and it works fine. Driver appears to be loaded ok. Sound is not muted. Reverted to previous kernel befoer update but did not resolve. ProblemType:
