I found that issue too. the driver v3d.ko crashed. In the 1013, we
enabled v3d.ko, while before the 1013, the v3d.ko is disabled.
You could change dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d to #dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d in
the config.txt, then boot with 1013 kernel, system will use fbdev as
before.

Another test is when problems happens, switch back to 1007 kernel (the
1007 kernel, initrd and dtb are in the folder of
/boot/firmware/$filename.bak, remove .bak,
5.3.0-1012-raspi4 is just a testing kernel, it is based on
5.3.0-1012-raspi2, just changed the flavour name from raspi2 to raspi4,
no function change.

internal mic is connected to PCH instead of codec, so it needs sof
driver and firmware/tplg/ucm to work. But so far, we don't have them for

dwc_otg maybe allocated in the highmem, if it is in the highmem, the usb

In theory, we could enable HIGHMEM and VMSPLIT_2G (not VMSPLIT_3G) for
arm32 kernel to workaround this issue, with the 2G user space and 2G

Please download (Raspberry Pi 3 (64-bit ARM) preinstalled server image)
from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/eoan/release/
And please note if you use 4G version Pi4 board, the usb keyboard
doesn't work with the default kernel in the image, to use the usb
keyboard, please add total_mem=
Maybe after the proposed kernel is verified
To test -proposed kernel, with the old arm64 image:
edit /etc/apt/sources.list
and add below to that file:
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports eoan-proposed main restricted
deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports eoan-proposed universe
deb http:/
I tested 5.3.0-21-generic kernel on lenovo x1 carbon 7th, with the help
of ucm and blacklist of snd_hda_intel and snd_soc_skl, all audio worked
well.

We enabled DRM_VC4 in the linux-raspi2 of eoan, but disabled the
DRM_V3D.
In fact the DRM_V3D is crucial for graphical applications (such as
ubuntu-desktop :) as it removes the graphical overhead from the cpu to
the gpu, making the applications work much faster

Recently we found this update introduced one problem for cometlake
platforms, cometlake need to check PV bit when loading the firmware, but
this update doesn't set

"dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d" on rpi4/3/2, then the system will use the fb
driver of bcm2708_fb, this will not load the vc4 drm driver.

The kernel you wget and installed already included the patch for 3093,
so in theory, after installed the new kernel, the usb should work with
4G ram.
