Binary package hint: totem
When I enter a Windows System32 directory the totem video thumbnailer
crashes. Probably because the files are not really video files and its
just windows being stupid but this could confuse users who aren't
expecting totem to open when they aren't

it cant calculate the dependancies in the correct way - the obvious

Thanks for this - I think in the official upgrade documentation it tells you
that you require ubuntu-desktop which is evidently incorrect.

I had the same problem after a fresh install and then a full upgrade.
To fix it I had to reregister the gconf schemas
(howto here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=1164346postcount=11)
