The warning doesn't explain why blocklists are a bad idea, or how putting grub in the mbr avoids using blocklists. But installing GRUB2 into the MBR is obviously a bad idea. The fact that in the install program, the only way to avoid it is to click on Advanced at some point, is quite scary.
