- Use a2x to produce pdf
a2x -v -d book -f pdf book.asc
The output pdf contains images taking as much place as they can

I tried to update nvidia driver to 185.18 with ppa and it worked, Xorg
doesn't crash anymore.
I noticed at boot that DKMS compiled the new kernel module and it
reminded me that when I first booted on 2.6.28-14 with 180.44 driver,
DKMS didn't recompiled the kernel module ; could this issue be

I just updated my jaunty to 2.6.28-14 generic (x86_64) and I encounter
xorg crash at startup. When launching gdm, screen flickers at usual then
nothing, leaving me on a black screen.
I managed to identify the source of the problem but not its cause, it is
related to Xorg

Ok so I tried to uninstall pulseaudio and all its comrades with aptitude
remove --purge but the weird sound is still here so I guess it's more of
an alsa problem.

I tried to boot on live cd, everything was working fine.
I did a 'pactl list' to see modules loaded, one on live cd, one in native
ubuntu with just after login and one after kill/restart of pulse.
