Mouseman Wireless (long discontinued) which supported both PS2 and USB. I was
using USB exclusively. I tossed this mouse and replaced it with a brand new

I have temporarily enabled the feature in universal access to allow me
to use certain keys as a mouse on my keyboard to affect an orderly
shutdown once the mouse fails. This works ok. Tonight I have had 3
random mouse freezes. Sometimes I have to shut off power to the pc in
order to clear this erro
I need to investigate further as the file in question is big enough
(74mb) that I am not sure what happened - several hours later I
discovered the file was printing on the Laserjet 4L. No indication up
until the point that it started printing that there was an impending
print job. I've been in

outs of linux so figuring some of these things out is a bit difficult. I
was able to read these files in GIMP with no problems, but did not try
this until I had installed a library that specifically supports pcx

The files are converted from an early version of hppcl to pcx by a batch
conversion program that runs in dos, it's ancient and I no longer
remember where the two .exe files came from to do this, (possibly Orcad)

runs 64 bit Ubuntu 9.04. (FF 3.0.13) On my laptop which runs 32 bit
ubuntu with the same version of FF I am allowed to view files, but not
to save them. Adobe 9.1 is installed on both machines.
