This is still an issue in Ubuntu 16.10/2.20.3-0ubuntu8 and has been in
all Ubuntu versions in between.
It is hard to tell what is supposed to happen because apport doesn't
give any feedback. I guess, a browser is supposed to open where the
report can be completed _or_ the report is uploaded

It's very unintuitive that a compression program deletes its input file.
Afaik `bzip2` and `pbzip2` are the only ones around. It contradicts the
scheme of leaving everything as easy as possible for intuitive usage and
giving advanced users the possibility to eventually do

It'd be really helpful if one was able to copy stacktraces from the
`apport-gtk` dialog. I guess, the function is useful for all other parts
of the report displayed in the dialog as well.
