In Ubuntu 20.04, I was able to set Left Ctrl as my Compose key using
gnome-tweaks. I just upgraded to 22.04, where the Compose key settings
have been removed from gnome-tweaks and moved into control-center, but
Left Ctrl is not in the list of options for Compose.

I just ran into this on an upgrade from Hardy (8.04) to Lucid (10.04).
The issue was that when the mime module was first enabled, mime.conf
didn't exist and so wasn't symlinked into /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/.
Running `a2enmod mime` fixed it, but perhaps this should be fixed in the
lucid apache2 pa
It seems to have been fixed on my system (just upgraded to Feisty). OK

This is a regression since 2.6.12. If I boot with 2.6.12-10, I can
suspend and resume normally.
