Error setting power_level error messages have disappeared completely.
It also caused the frequency of ieee80211 phy0: brcms_c_prec_enq_head:
No where to go, prec == 4 messages to drop significantly, until last
night when dmesg
I was seeing similar issues with brcmsmac driver on my HP Slate 500 with
3.5.0-25-generic kernel. I was seeing lots of messages like - ieee80211
phy0: brcms_ops_config: Error setting power_level, and ieee80211 phy0:
brcms_c_prec_enq_head: No where to go, prec == 4. My network connection
was slow
Public bug reported:
brcmsmac driver in current LTS kernel has a bug that causes the driver
to generate lots of error messages and slows wifi down. Commit id
8a0961482698290713d14d7755d9280397804487 was committed to upstream
kernel to address this bug and should be backported to LTS kernel.

Workaround in the release notes for this bug does not work. After
