I was having the same problems (particularly the inability to switch
using Alt+Tab, and blank logos appearing in the launcher), but
installing lo-menubar and re-installing bamf (sudo apt-get --reinstall
install bamfdaemon) seems to have done the trick for me.

Same here. After upgrading Ubuntu from 12.04 to 12.10 I lost possibility to
send emails.
Todays upgrade packages evolution-data-server-dbg, evolution-data-server-common
and evolution-data-server to version 3.6.0-0ubuntu3 didn't help, I assume its a

problem solved. I added network printer @ http://localhost:631/admin and
not by a network search in the printer configuration utility. I guess it
is no more using samba for printing now but the cups server instead.
