Public bug reported: Binary package hint: postgresql The latest security version of postgres-8.1-8.1.4-7 causes errors during some table UPDATES on specific columns. THIS IS CRITICAL! I have been able to recreate on more than one install of 6.10. The bogus error message is something similar
