organised files can be set to use album artist if existing and then
artist as a fallback.
I haven't updated it in a while but if
I experience this same problem. Changing the Nautilus view mode to
List made it respond more predictably to touch clicks, but the problem
remains. I do not remember this problem being present in 11.10.

Hear, hear, neels. Focus-follows-mouse is very standard X11 behaviour
(I even tweak Windows to use FFM when I can), and breaking it is a major
flaw. The argument that it isn't part of the standard Ubuntu
experience shows a disappointing disrespect for users.

I am also affected by this. I am using a Harmony Remote Control and the
Harmony does not support the native IMON protocol well and is unseable
on my setup. I even went back to Ubuntu 10.4 to use the old driver but
the recent kernel update has nixed that option for me as well.

I am having a similar issue as #29.
I have just installed Lucid Beta 2 (x64).
The system functions normally when used locally, but any kind of remote
X access (VNC, X over SSH, NX) causes keyboard problems. Any press of
the s key in any application highlights the Indicator applet session
menu
I'm told that fbcon and vga16fb could be causing my problems with my
NVIDIA drivers. I've tried to disable fbcon vga16fb using blacklists,
renaming and even deleting the .ko files, but they're still being
loaded. Are they being compiled into the kernel now or something? I'm

I got a reasonable way into fixing this issue when I was playing with it
in Gutsy but I gave up. It is possible to fix, but I don't know enough
about editing/creating mime types.
A simple fix would be for someone (who knows more about mime types and
'default' programs)

/home/lachlan/eclipse/jre/bin/java
java in your current PATH
But if run that same binary from the command line, it starts eclipse, no
problem.

Ubuntu should really consider ditching evolution as its default email
client. About 10 people here at work use Ubuntu and everyone agrees
evolution is just too painful [slow, buggy, a resource hog] to use, so
we have all switched, one by one, to other email clients.

Well, after installing nautilus-cd-burner-dbgsym - I don't get the
crash anymore. I have burnt 3 DVDs in a row without error. Two of those
burns were through valgrind if you still are interested in the logs.
I guess your development version fixes this issue. Thanks for your help!

Crash when clicking
My work around for Evolution is to have a terminal window open with a
kill command set up to kill it. As soon as the memory starts to run
away, as fast as I can I kill the app. If I am not fast enough then
whole desktop freezes. I never should have upgraded to Edgy... ug.

Sadly this still exists for me. And it is not my video card, because I
can boot into windows and then play video with correct colour using
windows apps and drivers.

not my monitor), but video playback is now heavily shifted towards blue.
It just started doing this. Perhaps some kind of codec / video lib
