Recent kernel updates made it work for me (ie. all te expected mixers an working sound) on 2.6.24-16-generic kernel. Strangely, it stopped working witm my old compiled kernel (no apparmor), but a new one with apparmor patches woks very well (2.6.24-16-generic break CPU frequency scalling for me

Alsa was fixed in hardy updates, but acpi-cpufreq is still broken... I've rocompiled kernel from 2.6.24.4 vanilla sources + apparmor patches and everything works as it should - so this is probably not the upstream issue. But somehow I dont think this is the way to go for ordinary Ubuntu users - ke
