I was able to figure out a little more about it. When I said it wasn't
working before, basically it wouldn't show anything but a blank desktop
after you logged in. The right click menu still worked, as well as the
settings and stuff from there.

I believe I may have just figured out a solution: When disabling "Sync
to VBlank" from ccsm > OpenGL, the issue does not appear to be
happening. Tested a suspend and wake up, and this appears to be a fix
for the sleep issue as well. Can others test and see if this solution
works for them?

Saving the file as a ppt (attached) using Powerpoint 2010 in Windows XP
and then opening it in Libreoffice 3.3 does solves the cropping issue.
However this doesn't completely solve the problem as there are some new

You can always remove the Ubuntu packaged evolution and compile your
own. Still looking for a good resource to do that, but I had to do it
before in Jaunty for awhile.

I also get that error on a fresh install of 5.4.0
I'm using OS X as the server, and having the same problem. Leaving a
keyboard plugged into the linux client doesn't seem to make a
difference.
It always works fine at first till the mouse moves off and back onto the
screen; then synergy becomes unusable.

As of right now I'm current on the Lucid beta, and I'm affected by this
bug. telepathy-sofiasip is essentially useless. I register flawlessly
every time, but calls hang until I force the process to end. Debug
output is the same as above.

The problem seems to stem from the fact that one of the courier packages
creates the /var/run/courier directory, and it is owned by root.
I fixed it with the folowwing:
Edit the /etc/init.d/courier-mta script.
Change:
if [ ! -d ${run_dir} ]; then
mkdir -p ${run_dir}
chown daemon
My upgrade failed with a "keyring" error, followed by the "ubuntu-
minimal failed to install"; system is now refusing to boot correctly.
