The original netatalk 2.2beta4 has ACL capability, but this deb package doesn't
enable it.
If I have already installed "libldap2-dev" and "libacl1-dev", then netatalk is
built automatically with ACL capability.
I think it is better to require "libldap2-dev" and "libacl1-dev"
Just tested it from natty-proposed, curious if there's any reason at all
to have a dependency on any sort of browser. I personally don't want
Chromium on my machine; all I want is the icedtea plugin.

I've had this problem ever since Intrepid. It hasn't bothered me as
much, but since now ath5k is totally open source, maybe there can be a
fix.

Strace for "padsp firefox" attached as requested. I waited about ten
minutes before getting the output from the terminal.
I also noticed that the waiting channel for the process was
"futex_wait_queue_me", perhaps that's a starting point.

I don't have a copy of Karmic handy, nor do I have the time to test it,
but IIRC, the location that it looks for the blacklisted module is
/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf. If you cat that, and then pipe it
through a grep evbug, then we've got a regression on our hands, or a
major problem.

If the bug still persists, I haven't managed to notice anything with it
in the nearly year time since I've reported it. After blacklisting it
and removing it, the annoying spam messages have never popped up again.
No other module is loading evbug in, not to my knowledge on the machine

Perhaps this is the missing information. I face the exact same bug;
expo was working fine until I updated to another kernel (I believe
2.6.24-18 or -19.
Here's what I get when I run ccsm from the command line:

I can confirm this bug. It happened to me for about 45 minutes, while I
scrambled for a meaningful solution.
I don't know many details, but I *believe* that I did use Alacarte to
edit my menus. After it's all said and done, POOF, no more
Applications.
Anyway, here's the steps I took to solve it
Here's the bash script that I wrote. It does the job pretty nicely (had
the chance to test it recently). Unfortunately, I haven't had the
chance to use it as an actual *cron*, but it will accomplish the same
thing when run as root.
