Unmounting the SD-card is what helps me too for the moment. But on resume
all partitions on the SD-card get mounted automatically and nautilus opens
windows for each of them.
On boot the SD-card doesn't get mounted, but whenever I start nautilus (on
whatever directory) all the partitions on the

I can confirm this on our server, running dapper-lts. We're experiencing these
problems since last Friday, 15.6.2007. The consequences are quite serious.
Since we're using an openLDAP-Server on this machine for user-authentification,
this bug in /etc/c
It doesn't seem to cause real trouble here (feisty multiseat-system with
four seats; no problems while running dapper), but whenever a user logs
in, the following lines appear in

Somehow this problem seems to be specific to my notebook. Tried the same

Having updated the BIOS of my Dell Inspiron 510m to the latest version
A11, there's still no possibility to set the video memory.
What I noticed though, is the following:
The BIOS knows an option 'Video Expansion' which enables/disables the
scaling of a lower resolution to a higher, native LCD re
The same problem here with a Dell Inspiron 510m. None of the proposed
fixes helps and I couldn't find any way to change the video memory
settings in the BIOS. I tried different settings for VideoRam in the
xorg.conf instead - without any success.
