What are the downsides of completely relying on libsecret for storing

It does not work in Quantal (same symptoms). I attached the syslog.
I did logger to mark the notifications of network-manager in the syslog:

I have an up-to-date Ubuntu 10.10 with evince 2.32.0-0ubuntu1.1.
The error occurs, when I save a copy of an open file, overwriting the existing
file.
"Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report."
Does that mean, I have to
apport reported crash of bluetooth-applet after login. after that, the
applet seems to be restarted, because it's running now.

Also I'm using the proprietary NVIDIA driver (like some other people who get

Now grouping of contacts works, that's right.
But if a contact chooses to switch the protocol (which many of my friends with
multiprotocol clients do randomly), another chat window opens.
The behavior I expect is like in pidgin: merged contacts share a single chat
window.

I have mainly the same issue with karmic and 2.6.31-22-generic kernel.
If I connect to the VPN of my university (via wlan), I have a little time to
browse the internet, then the computer crashes and the caps lock light blinks.

after the multiple updates in the last weeks, the problem remains with
unmuted internal speakers, not working microphone and the mic-slider

After installing linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.31-20-generic, according to my
kernel version, i can adjust the volume again and flash in firefox works, too.
One problem remains: When i plug in my headphones, the internal speakers are
not muted.
I think the problem is related to the following issu
