I still see this in Lucid. One further workaround instead of killing the
panel is to change the coordinates of the weather location (in the
time/date applet under Edit-Locations) and save the new coordinates
(and then change them back again). This will update the weather for all
locations.

computer but the logs indicate it timed out on floppy0. In bug #459950 I
reported that I have an erroneous Floppy Drive menu entry in Gnome. I

I followed Leann's steps with a DVD and a data CD and cannot reproduce
the bug either. Eject works after watching/accessing parts of the
DVD/CD. I did, however, see some errors in dmesg but they might be
unrelated to this bug.

1) Insert CD, check that it's mounted and usable.
2) press hardware eject button. CD is ejected but not unmounted. CD icon still
on Gnome desktop

To confirm I started a new gnome-terminal and excuted mutt and vim. Even
without set mouse=a in vimrc I can scroll in both applications (left
mouse button doesn't work so direct mouse support in vim is really
turned off). I then start terminator from the same gnome-terminal and
both mutt and vim
So the problem seems to be that terminator does not have this patch
included because even if I enable alternate screen scroll in gnome-
terminal and tell terminator to use this profile, it doesn't scroll in
mutt (vim works with set mouse=a, thank you!).

Just rewrite all tags with exiftool before importing, e.g. 'exiftool
-tagsfromfile %f.jpg -r -ext JPG .' to rewrite all jpegs in the current

A few days ago evince started crashing randomly when I reload pdfs. Usually I
can reload several times before it crashes. On the terminal it prints Bus
error when it crashes and dmesg says something like

option invert=7:

I have a Google Calendar configured and activated in Evolution. When I
click on the GNOME clock applet in Hardy, the panel first freezes for
about two seconds, then the calendar and location window opens and shows
the days with appointments
I still get a delay with today's update from hardy-proposed when I click
on the date applet while my Google Calendar is enabled. If I disable
Google, intlclock opens immediately. To confirm I also removed and
readded the Google Calendar. The delay seems to be shorter than before

To confirm, I now first did an uninstall nvidia and then a fresh nvidia
install with Envy. This results in the crash but the attached
/var/log/envy-installer.log looks like it only contains the uninstall process,
maybe Envy crashes during install before the log is written. I copy here the

Thanks for the report. I can't reproduce this bug on my system. Maybe
the translation has been fixed in the recent language-pack update. The
mentioned strings are in package nautilus which has been updated on May
