As I wrote before, with version 7.10 my laptop was working fine. The main problem is that this bug (regression) should be reported to the Linux Kernel developers. Can anyone from Ubuntu do this, please? Thanks and I keep my fingers crossed hopying that this will be fixed soon! Michele --
