I have just close the window completely (which was restarted from Safe
Mode) and re-launched Fx. Now the tabs and Add-on Manager is loading
fine. So I should take back #10. I'll test with my add-ons one by one to

I found last night that my Lucid RC installation cannot boot and hangs
because one of my /etc/fstab entry evokes tmpfs. If that line is
commented out, then my upgraded installation can boot normally as a new
installation.

depends on libdrm-intel1 >= 2.4.18+git, which is not available. Did you

Eee PC 701 Synaptics touchpad did not have two-finger scrolling and
tapping, and I had only edge scrolling (vertical and horizontal), and
hard buttons (left and right). It was last last year, and it was my last
last netbook, so
I remember using Eee PC 701 with a Synaptics touchpad, and two-finger
scrolling and tapping worked then (with Ubuntu 7.10, 8.04, and Mandriva
2009.0). On Eee PC 901 with an Elantech touchpad, such functions worked
too.

have just installed and updated Intrepid last week, and my
NetworkManager can't get DHCP address with ipw2200 card. The two points

Same here, with Taiwan Chinese (zh-TW) locale. I believe that the method
provided by H_Plow should get Firefox 3.0.3 correctly localized, but I
also hope that the default language packs installed by Ubuntu could be

I see I have installed the 3:3.3.8-b-0ubuntu3 version of libqt3-mt, but
my Qt applications still display Chinese characters differetly with Gtk
applications on my Hardy, i.e. Qt applications still don't recognize my
fontconfig settings. Or should I delete all my qt3-config font settings
first?
Will this fix be included in Hardy?

Hi, I'm glad that the patch has been released and also incorporated into
Debian and Ubuntu. Meanwhile, the only package I found relating to
qt-x11-free is "qt-x11-free-dbg" in the Hardy repository. Is this the
package that I should install so to fix this font issue?

Hi, Michael, I have tried your script. The weird thing is, after I
executed it, it made substitution for *all* my fonts with my Sans alias
in the font.conf file, and that brought abundant unnecessary
substitutions. Is this because we set font.conf in different ways?

Wow, finally I find this bug have already been recorded since March! Now
it's the end of July, has the bug or upstream bug been fixed? Qt should
really follow the fontconfig settings as Gtk does!
