I'm having a similar problem with the unity desktop and xinerama.
I have a dual-monitor setup, each one running of a separate 550ti; my
secondary monitor is left of center.
When I move the mouse pointer from the left of center monitor, onto my
center screen, the pointer jumps all the way to the r
I deleted the partition table during the install but I'm not sure it had
quite managed to do it correctly. I rebooted, deleted the partition
table, rebooted again and then used gparted in "Try Ubuntu" to create
the partitions I required. I then ran the install which was successful.

Just started doing this. I was using Ubuntu 9.10 for a few weeks now, then out
of the blue the busy inodes message started flooding the log. I checked the log
to see if I was still getting the pulseaudio[5406]: ratelimit.c: 173 events
suppressed messages. The log instead was swamped full of the
