I have exactly the same performance problems with a gtx680 running
ubuntu 12.04.
Running Trine 2 with vsync on gives me 40 fps and 100 without vsync
(enabled on nvidia cp). But even at 100 fps gameplay is stuttery.
Also, a curious observation, when unredirect full screen window is
enabled I get 4
I had already tried the workaround in #2, it fixes window tearing while using
vsync, but doesn't fix stuttering while moving windows.
Like I said, compiz 0.9.7.8 doesn't have this behavior and I can drag windows
smoothly.

PAP. But I managed to solve it by using wicd instead of the network-
manager to control the network.

1. set up a new bluetooth device. So fareverything went well. Then I asked to
navigate the files on your device. I tried a SamsungC3510 and Android 2.3 and
the behavior was the same in both.

Just released 1.5.2 (you can get it from my stable ppa)
It fixes this bug and some other issues with libavcodec (also adds Italian
translation).
