1) The thumb button, which I have never used, on my very old Logitech
mouse will set the focus without touching the selection. However, not
everybody has thumb buttons - particularly on laptops. Scrolling with

label for the field could be a way to set focus to the field. I think it
does this on Windows, but correct me if I'm wrong.

This happens to me as well on Ubuntu 12.10. It makes it a bit scary to
delete the (previously) Ubuntu One synced folders, since the icons
suggest the deletion will still get synced to the "cloud".

Well ok, I guess it is not that bad in this case, since it does not

update-grub correctly found out that I have a Gentoo installation on
another partition, but it created a menu entry with the correct initrd,
but using memtest86.bin as the kernel. I believe this is due to the
script /usr/lib/linux-boot-probes/mounte
Tried to make a patch including my fix. I have no experience writing
patches though, so I probably did something wrong. Also I am not sure,
my fix is the best one.

Sorry, didn't finish my sentence:
The BIOS only has a setting for turning on/off "Wireless" which has the same
effect as Fn+F2, i.e. WLAN + bluetooth with the latter only turning on if
enabled in Windows.

Sometimes (seemingly at random) the modifier keys stop working. Logging
out and back in usually fixes it. The problem seems to be that I cannot
