bounds.

I'm using fluxbox, so gnome-settings-daemon doesn't start by default,
but gnome-control-panel still *appears* to work.
I added gnome-settings-daemon to my ~/.fluxbox/startup file and now
it all works as expected.

This seems to still be a problem in both 13.04 and 13.10 - I used the
workaround in #19 for 13.04 but, on upgrade, the script got overwritten

While Canonical and Ubuntu devs are slimming down installs and apps for
theirs (touch) and others goals. We are currently being left as those
who use and make re-spins with a problem of getting bloat in certain
areas and this being one. Mir is a seperate entity as is Mesa and to use
Mesa be that
Booting and after leaving and doing CTRL+D. Kernel panic with the
message:

As described in the summary. Transferred from bug 1212977...
The ISO of 2013-09-20 that contained the 3.11.0-7 #14 kernel does not
boot and the same issue remains.
Removed tags as my hardware has the latest BIOS.
A new 3.11.0-8 #15 has landed and I will test as soon as
Distribution upgrade was fine. This is purely an issue of getting a full
live-cd boot.
BIOS is latest version.
Machine boots off any other live-cd burned to USB.

Saucy live-cd images do not boot
Atempting to boot the live-cd mentioned in #4.
Booting removing 'quiet' and 'splash'.
Booting with addition of 'debug='
Boot will start and text will change as framebuffer kicks in and changes
the resolution. Then the following error appears.
+REASON=No init found. Try passing init=
As noted from a previous bug report. Using key combo 'CTRL+D' at
initramfs prompt results in a kernel panic.
