solves the issue, normal cpu usage with bluetooth turned on and device
connected, as identified in the below screenshots.

I can confirm, using said screenshot, i turned off bluetooth in my bios,
and as top shows in the below screenshot the bug seems resolved, so the
bug is confirmed.

I got a i915 gpu hang, again, a few minutes ago. this is with standerd ubuntu

i have tried the above fix from bryce, in that ppa.
at the moment, i havent had any gpu lockups/hangs in three days, i am slowly
going through things i think cause and or set of this issue.but it is looking
promising.

within a few minutes of booing the above *.39-rc3 kernel, this morning, the gpu
hang/lockup.
So the bug is not fixed in that new kernel, and seems to still remain.

I tried the kernel grub parameter "i915.modeset=0" and left my machine
for a day, and got no lockup/hang, when i would normally get atleast get
one.however it couldnt start gnome-shell and went straight into fallback
mode.
i am also trying http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.39-rc
@Bryce i have moved it to 715096, as i talked to your colleague tjaalton , in
#ubuntu-x lastnight, and he suggested it suits better in 715096, as it is a gpu
hung error.
i made a mistake, and am sorry.

I also tested the kernel as suggested by @Bryce above, last night. and
it wouldnt boot, and would freeze mid boot. as such, it wasnt possible
for me to test that kernel.

I was talking to the guys and gals over in #ubuntu-x yesterday about 730099,
and it was suggested I try a non-ubuntu system and kernel.
So it reminded me, only a couple of weeks ago, I had debian sid, with a kernel
from debian experimental on my eeepc. And didnt have any gpu lockup errors.

I was just running natty with unity, i had chromium open(gmail and google
reader), gnome-terminal (irssi) and pidgin.
i was able to pickup dmesg, to confirm its was the same bug, as i was logged
into said machine remotly via ssh.

I have gotten this error around a dozen times over the last few days.
when it happened last night, i was shutting everything down, to get
ready to turn my eeepc off, and only had gnome-terminal and irssi open,
