Hi
I have booted using the new hardy kernel and everything seems fine so
far. The boot time was also much reduced, presumably due to a more
refined resolution of power management issues.

Happy to do so, but right now Gutsy is not installed and I have been
working from Live CD (tried to put Dapper back on but for some
unexplicable reason the original CD I have hangs up half way through
install). So I can try and reinstall Gutsy and switch apci to off. It
was on my list of
Tried a Live Cd of Fawn and same problem occurs, but slightly less
severe. Reports attached.

Tried to upload version.log and lpci log but both appear to be empty
according to the upload error message. Are the other two sufficient
information?
