Jaunty isn't out yet and i dont want a beta release as my box is running great otherwise. per haps Ill try a live CD though. i tried openjdk-6-jre and java-6-sun-1.6.0.10 and 1.5.0 with OO 2.4. OO doesn't crash when I start the app. by opening a template directly. It only crashes when opening

There were some updates today (unrelated it seems) however I switched again to java-6-sun-1.6.0.10 and now I can open the templates through the program. Not very sure what happened exactly to make this issue go away, but it's fixed. Per haps it was an earlier update as I haven't tried fixing

It's fixed. The installation doesn't make a correct xorg.conf. It needs to be done manually. None of the installations either 32 or 64 bit would work, either kubuntu, ubuntu, centos. Neither drivers from nvidia site or the default install through package manager would install properly. This

hi i have found many people with the same problem. After installing (any)Nvidia drivers the system hangs at Checking Battery status and stops there. I have tried the 173, 177 and the latest 180.22 from Nvdia's website which i installed from the cli. Only get them to work properly on WinXP though
