When inserting USB flash and hard disc drives in Ubuntu 10.10 on an IBM
ThinkCentre M/T 8172 the drives do not automount. Due to previous
reports of a similar nature I have tried disabling the floppy drive in
BIOS, physically disconnecting the floppy drive, running sudo
** Attachment added: Output from dmesg after inserting USB drive, lsusb prior
and post mount, dmesg again.

using an external USB hub. I'm only using the built in USB ports.
