2. install the quantal kernel from the PPA
3. restart your computer

Run jockey and choose to activate the broadcom driver

Same here on Fedora 16. Same symptoms. Using glslideshow it crashes
about once per day. Putting in gnome-screensaver is the workaround.

I also ran into this issue on 2012-05-16 when installing Ubuntu 12.04
using the latest desktop ISO distribution. As with others experiencing

@foundations team - I suspect this is an unhandled exception from a back
end process, and that people aren't actually breaking. Would be good to
take a look though, if users will be prompted with errors. Please
unassign/reassing as desired.
