I can also confirm this behaviour. I have only been seeing this for the
last few days.
This may be related to:
1. the fact that I changed the preference under Software Sources from a Daily
Check for updates to a Weekly Check. I am now reverting that to see if the
message disappears. Or:

However, since I reported this bug I upgraded to Hardy beta, and the
current hardy postr package (0.9.1) fixed this issue for me.

some bugs, most of them due to the fact that dependencies have been changed to

I'm having the same problem: Xorg crashes randomly. The Xorg.0.log also states
"Caught signal 11. Server aborting". In my case, it only happens when I am not
sitting behind the pc. I presume it has to do with the screensaver kicking in.
Difference is that I'm using the proprietary nvidia driver

Management puts the display to sleep. I am currently looking for a
launchpad bug that describes this error. Firefox isn't causing problems,

I had the same problem with a Nikon D50, which was set to the USB Mass
Storage setting. Changing the in-camera setting from USM Mass Storage to
PTP made libgphoto recognize it.
