When I click the unity files place on the side bar it says "empty
sections There are no files in your home folder" despite there clearly
being some. I believe this may have something to do with me having a
separate /home partition.

It's still not fixed. As of today... also that fix works!!! maybe there
could be a work around to make the buttons increase that value
somehow... (does that fix actually increase battery life as well?)

I'm using lucid beta 2 and it definitely effects me, if I change
brightness it freezes, the same has happened with kernel 2.6.34 rc1 as
well as the default kernel. (currently using default)

When I click on ubuntu one once, nothing happens. Twice I get an ! in
the panel and an error box. Also when I go to the ubuntu one folder and
hit connect nothing happens. (says connecting but nothing occurs)

I don't think it's an issue, merely deleting them in nautilus as they
can be recovered from the recycle bin. A notification would be good,
since people may delete by accident. But what is important is for a
confirmation dialogue to appear when deleting from the recycle bin, but

How about do as I've done. Create an XDG directory in the home folder
AND have a shortcut to that directory on the desktop.

As far as I've experienced this, it's not especially a problem on
Laptops it's ONLY a problem with laptops. Since installing ubuntu, I've
been using it all the time and it's made me more productive since it's
really fast.
Maybe when you add desktop effects it should check what kind of mouse
input

doesn't do anything and it can't be done by accident?

While it's a good idea to make it easy to rename, care should be taken
to prevent it from being a nuisance like in windows and KDE.
One suggestion has been, for it only to work with the text part of the
icon which is good but not enough. It has to be really intuitively
obvious that clicking on the
