The second step in using KSubtitleRipper is running optical character
recognition on the subtitle images. It offers a UI for manually
inputting characters that gocr failed to recognize, and in fact the
process cannot proceed until the

Newer versions of gocr require a different command line invocation than
older ones, and KSubtitleRipper was written to use the old format. The
program is unusable as a result; the program doesn't get any usable
output from gocr.
