i cant make the buffer big enough to log it all. my boot process takes
23 seconds and the biggest buffer that i can get to work is 975kb
(999,999 bytes) which will only log 18 seconds.
This is a strange constant. The 32-bit integer overflows near 2Gb.
What is wrong with larger values? Doesn't
i installed Sergei's version and it works but it only captures 3 seconds
of my boot messages, how can i fix this?
Is there a lot of text to capture? If so, it might overflow the internal 32K
buffer.

It seems that it was a bug in input subsystem of xorg and not in device driver.
Resent xorg updates fixed the issue - there was no useful info in kdm error log
any more after crashes - but config files were corrupted.
Thanks to dpkg-reconfigure magic the problem is finally gone - uptime for ~3

I can confirm that the problem still exists in up-to-date Hardy It is a
little different to me - *usually* after starting gnome session both
keyboard and indicator switching work. Then they stop - and I could not
tell when or how. After it stops working, the problem is exactly as the
original bug

I have a similar behavior with just two of the screensavers: kswarm and
kspace. They can be started by the Test button in the Configure
Desctop - Screen Saver menu, but not automatically. After the timeout,
the mouse cursor disappears, the panel clock freezes, but otherwise
nothing happens on the

I have the same (similar?) problem on my Thinkpad T42. No sound after
hibernate. To get sound back I need to shut laptop down and start it back up.
Reboot does not help - looks like laptop has to be powered down to reset
something.

When you call sctipts from openvpn config file, such as client-connect,
auth-user-pass-verify, client-disconnect etc, the scripts get helpfil

I confirm that - same problem. Happens with rdesktop definitely and I
think with vnc as well - although every time I had this happen with VNC,
there were rdesktop windows too and I am not 100% sure which one had the
focus.
