Hello,
I have recently experienced a common bug on a new HP Pavilion, specifically
concerning sound. In this bug, one would turn the computer on, and no sound
will come out at all, even though both hardware and driver was detected.

Well actually, I had to reinstall Ubuntu and all my software for an
unrelated reason a while back, so I don't truly know. I have not been
able to reproduce the problem, so it may have been fixed in between
sometime or it may have just been an odd mix-up.

I attempted to start screem using the GUI, which failed. I then
attempted to start it using the terminal, which I then received the
following error:
process 3341: Applications must not close shared connections - see
dbus_connection_close() docs.
