It seems to work for me, but I cannot manage to change the mode used.
airmon (from aircrack) and iwconfig are not able to put the card on
"monitor mode" or "Ad-Hoc mode".

I don't know exactly if this is related, but airmon-sh does not work
here.
The reported error is :
"/usr/sbin/airmon-ng: 16: Syntax error: "(" unexpected"
Maybe this is related to the use of dash instead of bash. If not I could
file another bug.

I can confirm this bug.
When choosing "web browser" or "multimedia", xchat crashes again.
This bug has been reproduced by 4 people (using x86), without changing default
systray configuration.
